5 Travel Accessories That Could Save Your Life

Stay Safe On The Go

Sometimes the only way we’ll get from making a bucket list to ✅ing said bucket list is through spontanaity, acting on passion (or terror of another year come and gone), and saying “yes” to unplanned opportunities.

To this we say – Yaaass! Get on with your good life!  But let’s be real: odds are also good that things won’t go 100% according to plan.

By developing a Go-Kit, you can make sure you always have travel accessories that cover your base needs – shelter, water, food and safety – as you head out into the wild.

@mappingmegan compiled recommendations for these five essentials:

  1. Hammock
  2. Water Purifier
  3. Multi-Tool
  4. First Aid Kit
  5. Dry Wash

Whether you plan to be gone a weekend or a week, you won’t last long without a place to sleep away from the weather and creepy crawlies, safe drinking water, some food to refuel, and some safety equipment to treat bites, scrapes and bruises.

  1. This would be more helpful if you explained about each item. For example, a “multi-tool” is very vague. What exactly is it? So is “first-aid kit.” Also what do you mean by “dry wash?” It would also help to describe some scenarios where having these items would make the difference between life and death, or at the very least, discomfort.

    1. Hi Jen, click the link to the referenced full article (linked at the end) for more detail on each item. Thanks for checking out the site. Cheers!
